This feature was inspired by feedback from users who want to stick to consistent routines for weeks or months. Since Logday doesn’t use templates (yet), there was a need to simplify repeating past workouts.
With some tinkering (and a little elbow grease 😅), I was able to make it happen. Here’s how it works:
  • Go to
    Workout History
    .
  • Select the workout you want to repeat.
  • Click on the menu button and choose
    Repeat Workout
    .
  • That’s it! All your previous sets, weights, and reps will be auto-appended, making it easier than ever to stay consistent. (It’s also a small step toward implementing full tracking, more on that soon!)

Another highly requested addition is here! You can now time your rest periods while logging your workouts. The rest timer is enabled by default.
But, hey I know sometimes you need to take things at your own pace, especially after a deadlift or squat session that makes you see sounds and hear colors. I've been there too lol.
The rest timer can be disabled either at the exercise level or for the entire workout, giving you full control over your training flow.

Hey everyone! Happy Thanksgiving. Little late to wish. But thankful for all the support on Logday! On that note, I'm happy to announce that supersetting exercises is now available in Logday! This highly requested feature has been on the roadmap for a while, and I've tried to ensure it meets your needs. 💪
Here’s how it works:
  • You can now superset 2 exercises at a time.
  • Unlike other apps that allow supersets with 5-8 exercises, I have opted for a more focused and effective approach based on feedback from coaches and research. Supersetting 2 exercises strikes the perfect balance for optimal gains and practicality.
How to use it:
  • Click the
    menu icon
    next to your exercise name.
  • Select the exercise you want to superset with from your added exercises.
  • Done! Your superset is ready to go.
Enjoy the update!

It's been a while—our team (Me and ChatGPT) has been hard at work on this feature set, and while it’s not the final version, I'm excited to share this solid starting point!
You can now tag your sets as
Warmup, Dropset, or Failure Set
with ease!

Smarter Logging Indicators:
Stay on track with better live insights! Logday now shows you exactly how many sets and exercises you have left, so you can manage your time more effectively during training.

  • You can now 'Add set' and it will replicate the weights and goals from the previous set. Noticed this today during my Leg session and also as pointed via this reddit user.
  • Removed weight units which were present on every weight input.
  • More UI Cleanup! Add set button is not as loud, Made the Finish workout and Cancel Workout button not sticky so there's more room to just log. Alternatively we have a mini finish workout button next to Add set!

Shoutout to this reddit user for goated feedback 🫡
Thanks to all the new users I was able to gather this feedback by noticing users getting confused while using the app first time. The page names were confusing and it is now fixed.
  1. Your Logs has become Workout History
  2. Current workout will only be visible now when you start a workout
  3. Select exercises is now Quick Start
Okay, so big update time! While the app at this point is less than 2 weeks old, the feedback I have received has been nothing but great. There were really big UI, UX and backend updates that needed to be addressed as a whole. So I spent the last weekend building this v2! My personal favorite is the improved logging experience. It puts Logday on par with other workout tracking apps if I may say so!
Here's a long list of issues that were addressed!
  1. UI/UX Cleanup: C'mon I'm a designer this had to be the topmost priority haha.
  2. Data Loss Fix: The app no longer reloads between sets, so you won't lose your progress.
  3. Session Timeout Resolved: Workouts now stay active, even if you navigate away or close the browser, as long as you’re signed in.
  4. Persistent Workouts: Workouts remain active until you log out, cancel, or finish the session.
  5. Enhanced Search: Now supports multi-word search for easier exercise finding.
  6. PR and Note Indicators: Added clear indicators on mobile when a PR, note, or other details are logged.
  7. Routing Fixes: Direct links won’t throw 404 errors anymore.
  8. Logout Confirmation: Added a popup to confirm if you want to log out while a workout is active.
  9. Quick Changelog Updates: Streamlined changelog integration for faster deployments.
  10. Auto-Filled Workout Names: Tbh I did this because y'all lazy and were not bothered enough to update the workout names bruv 😭!
Big part of v2. I have always wanted to simplify the logging as much as possible as that's the goal with Logday. Ironically enough, it wasn't as simple initially. So I brought it upto industry standard with some extra touchups ✨ I mean that lowkey clean tbh.
UPDATE
BEFORE AFTER
Part of v2! While training with my gymbro and putting him on the app, I noticed there was an issue with the search; it was yielding search results only if I added one word to search, the second, third... words were not utilized to generate more accurate search results. So I fixed it with a lil help of GPTlord 🙏
